I Got A Car Alarm

For Valentine's my man got me a car alarm! So, now I don't have to make the "beep beep!" noise myself. As much fun as I had making the noise I was always afraid that someone might figure out that I didn't actually have one. Now I'm not afraid of loosing all my precious objects in my car. Which is pretty much just my radio. Everything else is paper, or a micro-fiber rag.

This past three day weekend was busy and long.

Saturday I was supposed to go out with my cousin, but she and her friend's canceled on me. No big deal though. I took that day to go get the car alarm, and buy some much needed clothes.

Sunday Chano and I spent the day cleaning out the garage. I really wish I had taken a "before" picture. So then you could have seen the wall of junk that was piled. I think we managed to get through a quarter of the garage. Which is an amazing amount! We filled up two garbage cans worth of trash. "Found" two sets of wheels and a pair. And realized that this will probably last only a couple months.

Monday we went back out the garage and gave all the wheels a bath, took picture and posted them online for sale. Since we had the hose out we decided to give the CRX a much needed bath. We decided to use a vaccum that we recovered from the garage's belly. Turned on. Though Chano had already known that there was no belt in it, so the brush didn't spin. But there was minimal suck-age coming through the attachment hose. Then we discovered how caked the filters were. It looked like it was used in an industrial warehouse.

You know, I JUST realized how boring I really am....talking about a vaccum! I need a life, and a better subject apparently.

So this past week I took a trip down to Electronic Arts in LA for a presentation on their new game Tiberium. Told us the story that takes place with some imagery in the background of the storyteller. It's a FPS with abilities to command troops. I know there is a game out there like that, and for the life of me I can't remember what it is! Driving me nuts! I spent the last five minutes trying to remember, and then I gave up because I realized I have better things to do.

I haven't decided if I liked it yet because I've never played a game like that before, and I'm not entirely sure how well I'd micro manage my team while trying to make sure I have enough ammo for myself. Since we were able to play the pre-alpha? version, I could already tell you that I was pressing all the wrong buttons due to other FPS that I play. I find that I was having problems remembering where I left my men, and that I don't have unlimited ammo. Despite running into a crowd of enemies ultimately unarmed, no idea where I am (due to a map bug...I couldn't get map to open!), or where back up is, I won the multi-player match. I was quite proud of myself thank you very much.
