Army of Two

Chano was trying to be sneaky! I just have this sixth sense when he buys things. Or it could be for the past two weeks I've been saying I want to buy Army of Two.

Obviously I haven't played through all of it but so far it seems okay.

Gate and Door.
This could have been a little more intuitive. I mean, I got it after I spent a minute trying ot figure out why the "A" button wasn't working, and when my partner went up to the same area that I did the "A" button didn't do anything either. Maybe the first gate you come across should have glowing buttons on either side of the door. Or maybe I just missed some dialog that told me there were two buttons.

The environment doesn't seem to take advantage of the two players.
The game boasts about how you can flank your enemies when you play with your partner, but its hard when its such a linear hallway. Not that you want to get too far from your partner just in case they go down (mainly me since I just LOVE to be the center of attention in a fire fight.) But a lot of the time there is only one way to get to your destination, not much flanking can be done if there is only one stair case to climb. I just kind of hope that as the game progresses the levels encourage more than one way to get around your enemy.

Left or Right Handed?
I can see that they tried to get the character to automatically adjust himself if he was standing at a wall with an opening to his left, but honestly, its just not enough. It never did it when I needed it to.

Camera.
Kinda hate that when I go down, I can't see much as my partner is trying to grab my body. At one point his body became transparent so I could see, but most of the time it wasn't and I couldn't defend us as he stumbled to grab my body. Actually I had problems looking through him if he were standing right behind me. My camera would just be looking at his back.
The back-to-back swinging camera intro sucks. I always get discombobulated every time that camera goes swinging.

Aim.
I don't really have a problem with this actually. I think its just silly for me that I find myself trying to use the controls like its Gears of War.

Dialog.
Hilarious.

Cinematics.
Great.

Lobby Cinematic?
Boring. I mean, the "still" shots look great n' all, but ultimately its boring because there is no animation.

Overall I'm liking the game. Maybe because I've also been itching to play something new.
